The NTC Foundation presents the 2024 ARTS DISTRICT Summer Music Series!   4pm to 7pm on Sunday August 25.

Come to Solare the same day and mention that you are going to – or were just at – the Concert and get a FREE Solare Bruschetta appetizer or Tiramisù dessert.  One per couple with the purchase of at least one entrée.

Everyone is invited to wander and explore the ARTS DISTRICT and enjoy FREE outdoor musical performances on the North Promenade.  Very close to Solare.

Guests, friends and family members of all ages are welcome to bring a blanket and lawn chairs to set up on the North Promenade and enjoy live music from 4 – 7 PM!

August 03 - August 04 - ArtWalk @ Liberty Station 2024 ~ Saturday & Sunday

Right across the street from Solare! Celebrate Creativity at ArtWalk Liberty Station.

To help celebrate ArtWalk Liberty Station 2024, Solare is open from 11am to closing for lunch on Saturday and Sunday.   Please join us for a great lunch on the patio or in our beautiful lounge or dining room. Free attendance at ArtWalk!   

We have a great Italian Lunch Menu.

This annual festival moved to Liberty Station in 2013, and the venue was a tremendous success. Artists love the flat grassy park with easy load-in and strike access, and the layout provides every artist with a corner space. Attendees will enjoy the opportunity to purchase artwork from more than 175 fine artists, all in a beautiful al fresco setting, plus live music, interactive art for adults and kids, and delicious street food options.

July 25 - Napa Valley Wine Dinner ~ Keenan Winery with Michael Keenan

I am sending this note to let you know about a wonderful Napa Valley Wine Dinner that is happening on Thursday, July 25.

We are very lucky to have the Winemaker and Owner of Keenan Winery, Michael Keenan, here to lead the dinner.

Note that Michael got us 3-liter bottles his Estate Merlot and 3-liter bottles of his Estate Cabernet Sauvignon wines. We love the large format bottles!!

As an additional special highlight – Michael is pouring is newly released and rare “Capstone” wine. He feels it is his “crowning achievement” as a winemaker.

He only made it in 2020 and he has stated he will not make it again. 2020 was a blessed vintage for Keenan when everything came together beautifully. We are lucky to have it at the dinner!

July 20 - Cooking Class: Gnocchi, Pesto, and Bolognese

A full immersion in gnocchi and slow braised Bolognese sauce — the essence of the Emilia-Romagna region. You will learn to twist the traditional recipe of gnocchi, by creating different tastes, and shapes, so you can surprise your family and friends at home.   We also learn how to make the best pesto.

The lesson is held in our kitchen and is “hands-on” and not a mere cooking “demonstration”.  The fun starts at 10:30am at Solare with an Italian-style coffee of your choice. Italian wine is served for students interested in “cooking with wine”.  Important: Please wear closed toe shoes.  Class size is small and intimate and limited to approximately 10 students.  $95++/student that includes the class, wine, and lunch.
