January 13 - Cooking Class: Fish and Shellfish + Fish Market

Learn to cook delicious fish and seafood Italian style!   Meet at Solare and drive together to a local fish market (less than 3 miles) to learn about fish and buying fresh fish with confidence.

We then all head back to Solare to prepare and cook some great seafood dishes. Executive Chef Denice Grande will teach you how to cook fish and seafood. Seafood lovers will not want to miss this opportunity.

NOTE that for this class, the fun starts at 10am instead of the normal 10:30am as we are visiting the fish market.  We start with an Italian-style coffee of your choice.  The lesson is then held in our kitchen.  The lesson is held in our kitchen and is “hands-on” and not a mere cooking “demonstration”.  Italian wine is served for students interested in “cooking with wine”.  Important: Please wear closed toe shoes.  Class size is small and intimate and limited to approximately 10 students.  $95++/student that includes the class, wine, and lunch. Ciao!! Here is our January and February 2024 Schedule.  Contact us to reserve your spots.

$95++ per student.   Includes the hands-on cooking class, wine, and a full lunch.   Limit 10 students per class.

Our Cooking Classes offer a truly hands-on experience in Solare’s kitchen allowing each student to create Italian cuisine themselves to make at home.   Our classes are not just a “demonstration”.  They are very “hands on” and interactive. You are in the Solare Kitchen. 

When you see one you like, I recommend jumping on it pretty fast as class sizes are intentionally small.

The classes are held pretty much every other Saturday, and the fun typically starts at 10:30am at Solare (10am for some classes) with an Italian-style coffee of your choice.   Italian wine is served for students interested in “cooking with wine”.

The Classes do sell out fast due to the limited size.

January 01 - New Year’s Day

Solare is closed all day on New Year’s Day to allow our Team to relax and be with their families and friends. We open again Tuesday, January 2, at 4:30pm noon.  Buon Anno! 

December 31 - Solare New Year’s Eve Dinner & Party!

We are having a fabulous New Year’s Eve Dinner (4-course dinner) … and Party! Please join us and  celebrate the New Year with the Solare Team.

December 25 - Christmas Day

Solare is closed all day on Christmas Day to allow our Team to relax and be with their families and friends. We open again Tuesday, December 26 at 4:30pm.   Buon Natale!

December 24 - Solare Christmas Eve Dinner

Please join us for a special Christmas Eve dinner – a Holiday Feast with traditional dishes from Italy! For this entire evening, we will be sharing special Italian Holiday dishes with a prix fixe special menu. It is a 4-course dinner with lots of selections that is $68 for adults — and we can definitely do something simpler for kids with our holiday kid’s menu. You can make your reservation today.
