December 31 - Solare New Year’s Eve Dinner & Party!
We are having a fabulous New Year’s Eve Dinner (4-course dinner) … and Party! Please plan on celebrating the New Year with the Solare Team. Here are the details: Special 4-course dinner from Chef Accursio ~~ 69++/person for seatings from 4:30pm to 6:15pm ~~ $85++/person for seatings starting at 6:30pm (includes the Party that night) ~~ Full Bar ~~ Party goes till 2am. It was fun last year. Special Note! The fine folks at the Marriott Courtyard right by Solare are making a limited block of rooms available to Solare customers at a reduced rate of $99 per night for New Year’s Eve (deadline December 19). That’s an incredible price available by contacting us! You can party with us at Solare and then just grab a shuttle or walk to your room. This is what I am doing! First come first served for the hotel block. The dinner and block of rooms will also sell out. Seating is limited. Reserve Now!

December 25 - Christmas Day
Solare is closed all day on Christmas Day to allow our Team to relax and be with their families and friends. We open again Tuesday, December 27 (my birthday!), at 11:30am.

December 24 - Solare Christmas Eve Dinner
Please join us for a special Christmas Eve dinner — a Holiday Feast with traditional dishes from Sicily! Chef Accursio will be sharing family recipes that he learned from his Mother and Grandmother back in Sicily. It is a 4-course dinner that Chef Accursio designed with a couple special surprises. The dinner is $59++ for adults and we can definitely do something simpler for kids with our kid’s menu. You can make your reservation today.

December 23 - Learn to Make Holiday Cocktails with Tommy
Want to learn for to make Holiday Cocktails like the pros? Want to have a great time while doing it? Here is your chance!! Join Mixologist, Tommy, from 5pm to 6pm on Friday, December 23, in the Solare lounge and bar and he will teach key techniques & tricks of cocktail making … and will show you how to make some delicious Holiday Cocktails in the process. Send us a note if you’d like to join Tommy and the fun … limit 12 persons … and the price is $15 and that includes 2 cocktails. I’ll be there too – can’t wait! Ho Ho Ho! – Sold Out

December 22 - Odd Bins! ~~ Help us finish off some great wines!!
Do you love wine? Well – we buy a lot (understatement) of great wines from all across Italy and all along the west coast of North America. Petra, Tommy, and I just did an inventory of our wine cellar — and we have lots of wine where we have just one or two bottles left. With just one or two bottles, we really can’t place them on our wine list – so now is the time to finish them off. And we need your help! So on this evening (and Wednesday, December 28 also) we will be opening many-many bottles and offering fun eclectic tasting flights at bargain prices. Here’s how it works: From 5pm to closing we will have a large selection of wines available in tasting pours. Some of the 3oz pours are just $2! We also have a couple surprise “high-end” wines that we decided to include to spice things up! If you like wine – you can’t miss this. ~~ Contact us for more details of just stop in!

December 10 - Liberty Station 2nd Annual Holiday Block Party
FREE Sicilian Butternut Squash Soup at Solare! Yes – as Santa’s sleigh touches down in the neighborhood, join Liberty Station’s merrymakers and artisans as they ready their shops, restaurants (Go Solare!) and galleries for the most wonderful time of the year. While festive tunes of carolers fill the historic archways and plazas, revelers are invited to salute the season with a joyous evening of activities and entertainment. From an outdoor ice rink, holiday gifting pop-up market, kid-friendly adventures and a bounty of festive flavors and sips, head to Liberty Station this season to celebrate the creative community within our historic naval-base-turned-neighborhood!
