This is a fabulous “Spirits Dinner”! An evening with Tommy … and 4 San Diego Distillers (local spirits!)!! . Yes, we are having a 4-course Dinner featuring “Farm to Bar” Cocktails by Tommy with 100% of the spirits coming from 4 local San Diego distilleries – and each cocktail featuring local produce, fruits, and herbs. . The San Diego Bay Wine + Food Festival and Solare have teamed up to provide a Grand Wine Dinner during this big annual wine event. For this, we have designed a Piemonte, Italy, focused wine dinner highlighting the legendary region of Barolo and The Langhe! Embark on an in-depth exploration of the amazing wines from the Langhe Region that includes Barolo and Barbaresco. These wines have received 90+ rated vintage scores every year with 2010 receiving the outstanding 97 rating and 2012 receiving 94 points. Join Sicilian-born Executive Chef, Accursio Lotà, and the team at Solare Ristorante as they pair leading Piemonte wines with the cuisine of that exact region of Piemonte, Italy. 7pm dinner. Founded in 1970, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars is a Napa Valley “first growth” winery. They achieved huge fame when their 1973 SLV Cab won the now famous 1976 “Judgment of Paris” Tasting.
