December 24 - Solare Christmas Eve Dinner

Please join us for a special Christmas Eve dinner – a Holiday Feast with traditional dishes from Italy! For this entire evening, 4:30pm to 9pm, we will be sharing special Italian Holiday dishes with a prix fixe special menu. It is a 4-course dinner that is $59 for adults and we can definitely do something simpler for kids with our holiday kid’s menu. You can make your reservation today.

December 22 - Odd Bins ~ Wine Carnival! ~~ Help us finish off some great wines!! Featuring Italian Wine Ambassador Petra Belliti

Do you love wine? We do!

We buy a lot (understatement) of great wines from all across Italy and all along the west coast of North America. Petra, Tommy, and I just did an inventory of our wine cellar — and we have lots of wine where we have just one or two bottles left. With just one or two bottles, we really can’t place them on our wine list – so now is the time to finish them off. And we need your help! So on this evening we will be opening many-many bottles and offering a fun, build your own wine tasting experience at bargain prices.

Here’s how it works: From 5pm to closing there will be a “walking” wine tour available in the lounge and bar area. We will have a large selection of wines available in tasting pours. Some of the pours are just $2! We also have a couple surprise “high-end” wines that we decided to include to spice things up!

November 30 - Solare + Fortaleza Tequila Tasting Dinner

Be amazed by how well our Italian cuisine pairs with the world’s best tequila, Fortaleza! Join me as I lead the 4-course dinner and tasting with an evening of fun details and photos of everything about agave, tequila, and Jalisco. Learn how the agave is grown and used to make this amazing spirit. Be at Solare at 7pm for a Reception with a Welcome Cocktail that Tommy designed. Boutique dinner – 16 persons total dining & drinking with me in our special private room. $64 for the 4-course dinner and $24 for the Fortaleza for the evening. Seating is very limited. November 17 - Cooking Class: Authentic Pizza from Scratch

Note: This Class is on a Sunday this week, and starts at 11am. Have you ever wanted to learn how to make pizza in the authentic style from the renowned city of Napoli? How about a tasty Sfincione from Sicily; Focaccia from Liguria? Here is your perfect opportunity — Pizza Chef Brian will guide you through each step – starting with making the dough from scratch. This is very HANDS ON – you are learning to make pizza and not just watching someone else show you. Each student will take home extra dough to show off their pizza making skills that evening at home! The fun starts at 11am at Solare with an Italian-style coffee of your choice and a pastry.
