May 09 - May 10 - Mother’s Day Weekend at Solare
Join us for Mother’s Day Weekend!

We open at 10am on Sunday – and 11:30am on Saturday, May 9. We have a wonderful selection of special Italian dishes for Mother’s Day.
We are doing special things with our Millefoglie dessert with the Carlsbad Strawberry Company – Wild Caught Fresh Alaskan Salmon – Lobster Ravioli and Lobster Bisque – fresh pasta with Italian truffles – and more.

April 28 - Evening in the Magical Village of Tequila – with Don Fulano
Join us for a fabulous evening with Sergio Muniz and the agave distillates of Don Fulano, a story of excellence since its inception.

Agave from the Highlands of Jalisco brought to the highest level by the guiding hand of Enrique Fonseca and Sergio Mendoza.
Produced at the historic distillery, La Tequilena, in the heart of the magical village of Tequila in Jalisco, México, this is a dinner you do not want to miss.
Explore the Terroir and incredible stories that Sergio has to share.

April 23 - April 25 - Here’s the Plan – Wine Spectator – 3 Wine events!
Ciao – Here are the details on the 3 Italian Wine Events – the focus is Tuscany!
The wonderful news is that Wine Spectator is bringing lots of great Italian wine producers to San Diego for their Grand Tour at the Gaylord Convention Center.
So – we have 3 amazing wineries from Tuscany here on April 23, 24, and 25. Yay!
We lured these three amazing Tuscan wineries to be at Solare:
For all three events with the wine estates the owner or winemaker will be leading the dinner. Epic!

March 25 - Tommy Gomes – An Evening of Seafood
Ciao! Guess what?
We are very lucky to have Tommy Gomes – Master Fishmonger – here at Solare for an “Evening of Seafood” Dinner on Wednesday, March 25.
We have a 5-course dinner by Exec Chef Denice Grande featuring the great seafood delicacies that we have selected with Tommy.
Tommy is actively filming his next season of “The Fishmonger” so you will hear all about that – and all the latest seasonal catch that is happening now.

March 20 - Boutique Wine Dinner in Tuscany
Would you be available to join me for a small intimate Wine Dinner in our Private Room on Friday, March 20? The first day of Spring!
Limited to 20 guests (that is the max) around one table – we will focus on the wines of two great Tuscan wineries: Bibi Graetz and Bertinga. Chef Denice and I started on the menu this afternoon.
I was made aware of this opportunity this morning, and decided to jump on it. It will be fun!

- 4 great Tuscan wines:
- Bibi Graetz – 3 wines including their epic Testamatta (100% Sangiovese)
- Bertinga – Their 2021 vintage of 100% Sangiovese Chianti Classico DOCG (2021 is rated an incredible vintage in Chianti and also Barolo)
- $92 includes the 4 wines and the 4-course dinner with dishes focused on Tuscany
