Ciao!! Here is our Fall and Winter Schedule.  Contact us to reserve your spots.

$95++ per student.   Includes the hands-on cooking class, wine, and a full lunch.   Limit 10 students per class.

We love doing Cooking Classes here at Solare.

  • Sep 23 – Cooking Seafood Italian-style
  • Oct 7 – Pizza from Scratch!
  • Oct 14 – Cooking Seafood Italian-style
  • Oct 21 – Making the best authentic Lasagna
  • Nov 11 – Pizza from Scratch!
  • Nov 25 – Preparing and Cooking Pasta from Scratch

Our Cooking Classes offer a truly hands-on experience in a commercial kitchen allowing each student to create Italian cuisine themselves to make at home.   Our classes are not just a “demonstration”.

The classes are held pretty much every other Saturday, and the fun typically starts at 10:30am at Solare (10am for some classes) with an Italian-style coffee of your choice.   Italian wine is served for students interested in “cooking with wine”.

The Classes do sell out fast due to the limited size.

If yes, we have Mr. Mark Young here leading a special Happy Hour afternoon from 4pm to 6pm.

Cachaça is a reflection of Brazilian culture, all natural, unique and authentically down-to-earth with many different expressions and personalities. Sotaques creates its cachaça in Minas Gerais – Brazil, using the traditional process carried on by generations since the early 1500’s.

Sotaques revives the ancient art of distilling cachaça, pioneering a unique approach and delivering the hand-crafted spirit to a new generation of creative drinkers and cultural innovators.

Yes! We have a special Mezcal Dinner at Solare this Thursday, August 24.

Andrea is the owner of an awesome mezcal distillery in Oaxaca, Mexico. A place we should all team up and visit soon!

She is here this Thursday for a dinner we have designed to complement the mezcals she has created.

Exec Chef Denice Grande is having fun with the menu. (Shhhh … one of the dishes is a Mole Ravioli where the mole is in the Oaxacan-style).

If you are available Thursday. Join me – I love these dinners focused on a person’s love of creating something beautiful and precious representing the land (or sea) of a very specific area.

Italian Wine Dinner at Solare Ristorante – join us this Monday, August 21, and meet the owner & winemaker of a very cool Tuscan winery in the region of Montepulciano.

His name is Michele Manelli – and he owns Salcheto Estate.

Michele and his team farm 145 acres of organic certified grapevines with a real focus on biodynamic techniques.

This is the land of Sangiovese!

You will love his wines – and Exec Chef Denice Grande is designing a 4-course menu of dishes from this region of Tuscany.
