We love doing Cooking Classes here at Solare!

Our Cooking Classes offer a truly hands-on experience allowing each student to create Italian cuisine themselves to make at home.  Our classes are not just a “demonstration”.

The fun typically starts at 10am at Solare with an Italian-style coffee of your choice.  Italian wine is served for students interested in “cooking with wine”.

• August 8 Making Pizza from Scratch – Italiano!
• August 22 Learn to Cook Roman Classics

September 10 - Rioja Wine Dinner – the amazing Marqués de Cáceres Estate

An Evening in the heart of Rioja, Spain – on Thursday, September 10.

The winery is the famous “Marqués de Cáceres” Estate – a leader for over 50 years of classic Rioja wines and Tempranillo vineyards.

Yes – we have Luis Burgueño here from the winery leading the evening. You will really enjoy meeting him – and hearing all about what’s happening in Rioja right now and the 2026 harvest.

Note: We were able to secure two wooden cases of their highly acclaimed 2021 Gaudium release. This wine received 100-points from Andrés Proensa, a veteran Spanish wine journalist with more than 40 years focusing on higher-quality Spanish wines.
