Note: This is a rare and very special evening of Italian wine and cuisine … and we are saying this having hosted many many Italian Wine Dinners.

We have Piero Mastroberadino here … the 10th generation owner of Mastroberadino Estate in the Italian region of Campania. The land of Naples, the Amalfi Coast, Mount Vesuvius, and mozzarella cheese.

Piero rarely does tours like this and this may be his first wine dinner in San Diego. You will want to meet him. And, Piero is here with is daughter, Camilla. The next generation!

Mastroberadino started its vineyards in the early 1700’s and it began exporting its wines outside Italy in 1878.

Their focus is the indigenous grape varietals of their region including the famous Aglianico, Fiano, Piedirosso, and more.

You will love Piero’s wines. Always award-winning and perfect for a pairing dinner.

We love doing Cooking Classes here at Solare!

Our Cooking Classes offer a truly hands-on experience allowing each student to create Italian cuisine themselves to make at home.  Our classes are not just a “demonstration”.

The fun typically starts at 10am at Solare with an Italian-style coffee of your choice.  Italian wine is served for students interested in “cooking with wine”.

• Nov 21 – Making Pizza from Scratch with Pizza Chef Brian
