Here is the short story: as you (hopefully) know, Solare has a strong connection and love for agave … and in support of the “Mexico in a Bottle” event happening on Sunday, March 11, at Bread and Salt, we have 2 dinners, one focused on Tequila and the second focused on Mezcal. For the Tequila Dinner it is a boutique dinner limited to 18 persons with William Erickson (6th Generation of Fortaleza) and Eduardo Orendain (4th Generation of Arette and his father was the former mayor of the town of Tequila). For the Mezcal dinner Saturday, we have Esteban Morales who is likely the #1 person today in the world with the deepest knowledge and experience with Mezcal in our main dining room.
