Our good friend, Stefano Poggi of Batasiolo Winery in Piemonte, took the lead in organizing this great dinner. 3 restaurants, 4+ chefs, and amazing wines including Batasiolo 2007 Barolo DOCG Briccolina are going to collaborate to put on a culinary extravaganza. Featuring: Chefs Cassineri Mario and Francesca Penoncelli from Bice San Diego ~ Chef Accursio Lota from Solare Ristorante ~ and Chef Stefano Ceresoli from Piazza 1909. This is the first in a series of events celebrating the seasons like only true, authentic Italians can. Wine and dine to your heart’s content on real Italian expressions. The menu will be finalized soon, but just to whet your appetite- the welcome appetizer will be a whole suckling pig paired with the new (unofficial launch in California) The Independent Prosecco.
